Select Chapters to Translate

Click "Auto-Translate" on the novel page to select chapters. Use "Select Range" for a specific subset.

Pro Tip

Start with 5-10 chapters to get familiar with the process before translating hundreds.

3

Glossary Generation

OpenNovel's AI analyzes your selected chapters and generates a comprehensive glossary including:

  • Character Names — Protagonists, antagonists, and supporting characters
  • Terminology — Cultivation terms, magic systems, technical jargon
  • Organizations — Guilds, sects, companies
  • Special Items and Skills — Weapons, artifacts, skills
4

Review Glossary

Review and refine the AI-generated glossary. Customize character and term translations, and set character genders for consistent results. You can also import pre-made glossary packs.

Important

Review the glossary carefully — it will be applied throughout the entire translation. Mistakes require retranslating affected chapters.

5

Once you approve the glossary, translation runs automatically in the background. Feel free to navigate away and return anytime to check progress.
